About Katherine Harley
Hey there! My name is Katie Harley and I am a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) and future Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) from Seattle, Washington. I would describe my group therapy sessions as creative, informative, and engaging. I consider myself to be an enthusiastic learner of how people experience and engage with this life journey we all share. My hope as a professional is to play a collaborative role in finding adaptive ways to navigate these complex experiences!A few of my favorite therapeutic modalities are Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotions-Focused Therapy (EFT), cinema therapy, using creative art, and wilderness therapy! I also love facilitating groups about self awareness, self acceptance, self compassion, and self worth. I value honesty, consistency, clarity and professionalism in an employer. For me to have the privilege to hold space for people looking to grow and change is beautiful and I truely cherish sharing in someone’s healing process. It is my life passion to be the best I can be for myself and in turn, so I can be the best professional as I can be, for others.
