As a dynamic merchant and brand builder, I believe that the path to success can be a simple one. During my tenure at Williams-Sonoma under the inspiring leadership of the one-and-only Chuck Williams, he often talked about the straightforward approach upon which he built his legacy. Open the shop door, switch on the lights, sweep off the welcome mat and greet each and every customer with pride and purpose. For me that simple mantra equates to creating a long term vision, aligning on the path forward, driving brand clarity, building products that customers want with quality, style and value at their heart and leading teams with empathy and purpose. Sticking to these principles, I’ve consistently grown businesses from my very own store, to start ups, to high-growth models, to well-established household names. I thrive in an environment that relies on collaboration, innovation and evolution. From periods of smooth sailing to the challenges of pivots and disruption, I’ve successfully built and redefined brands across all categories, including Women’s, Men’s, Kids’, Active, Home and Accessories. At the helm of a $7B Proprietary Brand portfolio at Kohl’s, I led the work to rationalize and clarify, define and simplify, reducing brands by 25%, while delivering company-leading results in 2022. A leader of expansive teams and collaborative partnerships, I am committed to nurturing teams and talent and dedicated to the hard work of inclusion and equity both internal and customer and community facing. My focus remains on the lasting legacy of great brands, engaged teams and work with a purpose.
