About Katherine Boutros
As a finance and accounting double major actively engaged in organizations like Road to CPA, Beta Gamma Sigma, Beta Alpha Psi, and FBLA, I am dedicated to developing my professional skills and gaining insights into the financial industry. I will be graduating with 150 credits by May 2027 in order to pursue a CPA license. In my role as an Assistant Director of Events for a popular neighborhood restaurant, I helped oversee over 30 successful events, contributing to a 50% sales increase for the events business within one year. In addition to event planning, I managed social media, answered reviews, and organized catering orders. As a Viewing Assistant for a major auction house’s Watches department, I interacted with international clients and specialists, developing a keen eye and an ability to articulate distinctive features during exhibition events before seasonal auctions. I currently work as a Teaching Assistant for three accounting courses where I tutor students and proctor exams, and I am an Ambassador for Rutgers Business School.
