About Katherine Bohigian
I graduated in 2025 from Georgetown University with honors in Human Science, where I developed an interest in the intersection of communication, behavior, and health.Through my honors thesis and work in the Laboratory on Social and Affective Neuroscience, I explored how language influences health perceptions and decision-making. I also gained hands-on clinical experience as a medical scribe at Arlington Free Clinic and served as a peer mentor and advisor in the School of Health.Beyond academics and clinical work, I served as Executive Editor of the Georgetown Scientific Research Journal, the Event Outreach Coordinator for the Pre-Medical Society, advised campus mental health services as a CAPS advisory board member, and served as the D.C. State Chair for Georgetown Admissions.As a Laidlaw Scholar and member of Sigma Xi, I’m grateful for the research and leadership opportunities that shaped my undergraduate journey.
