About Katherine Bishop
Psychology major at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a strong interest in mental health, service, and helping others feel seen and supported. I’m working toward becoming a licensed therapist, with a focus on teens and adults and an interest in trauma and recovery, and I plan to attend graduate school to continue this path. This summer, I will be joining Spero Health as a Clinical Intern to gain hands-on experience in behavioral health care. Through part-time roles in hospitality, I’ve developed strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and the ability to navigate a wide range of interactions with confidence and empathy. Outside of work, I volunteer as a Pediatric Therapy Assistant in Nashville and with Mobile Meals in Knoxville, and I’m actively involved in service and philanthropy through Kappa Delta. I also serve as the Social Media and Marketing Director for NAMI On Campus at UTK, where I help promote mental health awareness and student engagement.
