I am an employment attorney and litigator representing, primarily, mid- to large-sized regional and national employers. I am grateful to be a trusted advisor and relentless advocate for my clients on a wide range of labor and employment-related issues from litigation to counseling to negotiating employment or separation agreements and most things in between.Roughly 70% of my practice is litigation focused. I represent employers facing (or bringing) litigation in federal court, state court, and arbitration venues like JAMS, FINRA, and This includes defense of wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wage and hour claims and collective/class actions, among others. I represent employers on both sides of restrictive covenant disputes as well as employers who seek to recover unpaid promissory notes from former employees. In recent years, my counseling practice has focused heavily on immigration and work authorization issues, including Form I-9 and E-Verify compliance and strategy, particularly in connection with mergers and acquisitions. I regularly assist employers with self-audits of their immigration compliance programs and I-9 records, provide training on the same, and represent employers who are the subject of a Form I-9 inspection by federal or state governmental agencies.
