ABOUT KATHARINE JACKSON

I am a strategic, motivational leader at executive and non-executive level, delivering stakeholder value to a range of businesses including scale up of SMEs and not for profits. I have a strategic and highly commercial approach backed by strong values and integrity. My experience ranges across Education, EdTech, digital and traditional publishing in both research and teaching and learning as well as SaaS and e-commerce business models. I am currently leading Dr Frost Learning an EdTech Maths platform to grow it\'s impact and fulfil the mission to provide quality Math\'s learning for all. Previously, I have grown two early stage businesses to the point of sale and have experience of finance raising and working with PEs. I led SAGE Publishing International for over 15 years through a period of significant growth and organisational complexity and have extensive experience of building and inspiring successful teams so as to drive business growth, manage change and enable operational efficiency. Internationally, I have worked with India and Asian markets for many years and have a keen interest in developing new markets and understanding different cultures. I have over 20 years expertise in M&A and am a tenacious negotiator as well as a facilitator of commercial rigour and good governance. As a leader, I am particularly focused on diversity, equity and inclusion and on enabling individuals at all levels to succeed. I care about the people with whom I work and am an active mentor, my work includes executive, board and career mentoring.
