Katharine cut her teeth in financial news as a staff writer for American Banker in New York and began her career as a cub reporter at the Baltimore Business Journal. Katharine received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia, where she double-majored in History and Journalism. She is an associate member of the Houston chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists.
