In this role I support the testing of uncertified Boeing airplanes. I perform on airplane flight tests by tracking center of gravity and gross weight of the airplane while working with other engineers and pilots to retain data. I work to complete knowledge and hands on proficiencies to work towards completing my Ground Operations training. I update the status of temporary operating limitations and advisories of the airplane based on upcoming testing in our schedule. A big part of my role is aiding in flight tests with the FAA to certify updated hardware and/or software on the plane. Also, I expand on my knowledge of flight test by asking and understanding how the other roles work together to complete work as a team.
