I am what you would call a “new” student affairs director. I’m a hybrid of aid director and college access professional. This allows me to not only provide key leadership to the College in the area of financial aid, compliance, and Veterans Services, but also provide guidance and assistance with outreach and enrollment management.

Paradise Valley Community College is a Learning Centered College with a focus on learning outcomes and assessment. As Director of Financial Aid & Veteran Services I interact with students and staff participating in the college’s Learning Centered model and serve as an advocate to further these principals.As the Director of Financial Aid & Veteran Services I provide vision, direction, and leadership to the financial aid office, financial aid outreach, and the office of Veteran Services. I provide oversight for all student aid and Veteran programs and am accountable for the College’s participation in and compliance with federal and state financial aid programs. I am charged with the development of a comprehensive financial aid/scholarship program that supports the College’s mission, while impact a diverse constituency and supporting various departments and academic goals.
