About Kateyanne Walburn

I am a senior at Ohio University studying Accounting, and Business Analytics. I plan to graduate in May 2027 with a Masters of Accounting. During my time at OU, I have been involved in organizations such as Ohio University Consulting Fellows and Ohio University Climate and Sustainability Ambassadors. I also work as a Learning Community Leader where I get to help first-year accounting majors acclimate to Ohio University. Through this job, I\'ve got to plan events and assist first-years with any concerns, issues, or questions about the future. I adore this job because I love helping others make the hard tasks fun! Through Consulting Fellows, I get to work with real-life companies with their business problems. We work in a team to find a business plan suitable for the clients’ wants and needs. Joining this organization has helped me grow professionally due to the real-life work with the clients. It has also helped to connect with upperclassmen and professionals to better understand all the parts of business. I love this organization because I get to work with clients on real-life budgets / financial planning while also getting to dive into the creative world of marketing!Ohio University Climate and Sustainability Ambassadors is an organization I joined outside the College of Business. I have always had a passion for sustainability and strive to work in a place that works towards a sustainable work environment. Through this organization, I have had the opportunity to educate and learn from the community by tabling at the Paw Paw Fest 2024! We also have sustainable events throughout the year to help educate but also to have fun with like-minded people. I appreciate this organization because it allows a different side of me to keep up with passions during my transition to the business world!I am so excited to continue my involvement here at Ohio University with organizations and other extracurriculars! I always love being able to help, please reach out! I am always open to new friends and opportunities!
