ABOUT KATE PHILLIPS
Currently an International Trainee Buyer for Primark; I have specialised in lingerie throughout my time in this role. I take products from the initial development stage to garments available to buy in stores, whilst also enhancing my analytical skills through running regular commercial reports and trade meetings. My visual merchandising background has given me good exposure to a variety of fashion areas, having worked with womenswear, menswear and accessories products during my time at Ted Baker. Living in Singapore has exposed me to a number of different cultures and experiences, aiding me in my global role catering for a variety of markets. My familiarity with this area has further resulted in me building more meaningful and productive relationships with international suppliers. I am conscientious, committed and hardworking, with good trend awareness and strong knowledge of the retail sector. I am keen to learn and to be challenged, and can thrive in a fast paced environment.
