About Kate Schuster

I received my Bachelor of Science in Operations and Supply Management from the University of Dayton 2012. After pursuing a year of full time volunteer work in Ecuador, I moved back to Dayton to start my career. and explore life in Dayton outside of campus. Through various jobs, volunteer experiences, and classes, I have found that I have developed several skills that I enjoy utilizing in my work. Problem Solving - finding the root cause of problems and coming up with creative solutions -understanding processes and suggesting process improvements -guiding associates to come up with their own ideas for process improvements Friendly and Outgoing Personality - My personality and communication skills allow me to be comfortable communicating with with employees at all levels of an organization. I enjoy meeting new people, making people feel welcome, and sharing my passions with others. Systems Analyst - work with users to understand issues, design new programs or system changes to improve business efficiencies, assist with program testing, implement changes, troubleshoot and identify system bugs Event Planning and Logistics - I enjoy planning events and am very detail orientated. I make sure no detail gets overlooked and that events run smoothly. Analytical Skills - experienced in using Pivot Tables as well as Microsoft Excel Solver Leader and Manager - I currently manage a staff of 7 people and manager the entire warehouse in my director’s absence.
