ABOUT KATE GARDNER

Kate Gardner has over a decade of experience translating strategic visions into reality through meaningful, high-impact storytelling. A trusted advisor and intuitive communicator, she has led integrated communications campaigns and inclusive stakeholder engagement strategies across sectors, including higher education, government, nonprofits, and financial services. Known for her creative, collaborative, and values-driven approach, Kate has served as a strategic advisor to elected officials, college presidents, private sector executives, and Boards of Governors. She has extensive experience in reputational risk management, executive communications, and stakeholder relationship management - always balancing big-picture strategy with thoughtful execution. Kate is passionate about using strategic communications as a tool to foster connection, clarity and impact. She currently supports the Office of the President and Executive Team at Humber Polytechnic, working alongside the Communications team to build on the institution\'s legacy as a national leader in the post-secondary sector while helping shape the future of higher education in Canada. Her postsecondary journey started at Langara College in British Columbia before she transferred to the University of Toronto and graduated with an Honours BA in Political Science and African Studies. Kate also completed a Graduate Diploma in Social Responsibility & Sustainability from the University of Toronto - St. Michael’s College, where she was recognized with the President’s Award for Advancing Social Impact in Community.
