Hello, My name is Katerina Ortega, and I am a Sophomore at Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business majoring in Finance with a concentration-minor in Philosophy. Through the Fordham chapter of Smart Woman Securities, I research individual stocks and entire markets to understand buy and sell options to pitch to my senior board. I have learned how to take feedback well and ensure my work meets my peers\' standards. Also, my work experience assisting several non-profit and startup founders allows me to understand my role working under professionals. I am ready to handle any tasks my team may have for me. I can do any job for any reason. I am ready to learn. I live in Miami and New York. I am Cuban and German and grew up speaking both Spanish and English fluently. While in high school I was captain of my varsity lacrosse team and junior varsity soccer team. I play tennis and love to learn new skills like guitar and navigating the MTA.
