I’m a Baret Scholar and intern with Baret Scholars, a global fellowship that supports young leaders to travel across seven regions of the world, engaging with CEOs, world leaders, and local changemakers.Through my role, I’ve helped amplify Baret’s mission by engaging schools, partners, and supporters, and was invited to speak at the Harvard Club in NYC with prospective schools and investors involved in the Baret movement.

Hello! My name is Katende (Tende) I was born in Uganda, Adopted and raised in Oxford Uk. I am a student who is currently travelling the world with Baret Scholars going across 7 Regions! I previously lived in London/ Oxford Uk, Vancouver Island. I am is passionate about how the Internet can be used to create global discussion about a vast array of topics with a focus on using technology for equality. Being Adopted I have seen first-hand how the internet can bring together communities of people who would have never met but all share a similar experience I am currently working on my own social media accounts with a combined following of over 40k with an average of 12 million monthly views monetising my own experiences aspiring actor, musician and creative!
