Smart Works is a UK charity that provides high quality interview clothes, styling advice and interview training to women in need. We give women the confidence, the self-belief and the practical tools they require to succeed at interview and start a new chapter in their life. At the core of our service is a two-hour appointment, when each woman receives a complete outfit of high-quality clothes and accessories (theirs to keep) and one-to-one interview training. This short intervention has a significant impact as our clients start believing in their own ability to succeed. My role, along with my job share, is to manage the coordination of our core services that our clients access, the day to day operational management of the centre, working closely with existing and new referral partners, working in partnership with our fundraising manager to plan events and raise essential funds as well as managing our group of volunteers to ensure they can deliver their fantastic support and guidance.
