About Katelynne Tomasek
Intentionally seeking to push myself outside of my comfort zone and to pursue continuous growth as a person, leader, daughter, sister, and a friend. Living a life serving others.My educational background comes from Grand Valley State University, with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and minor in Human Rights. While my original intentions were to pursue the police academy upon graduation, I found that I was passionate about addressing and solving social justice issues at the systemic level. This led me to pursue my master’s degree in Public Policy and Management from The Ohio State University.Throughout my five years in college, I worked as an Independent Sales Representative with Vector Marketing - the sales distributor of Cutco Cutlery - to pay my way through school. This is where my foundation for sales was built. During my last year of grad school, I knew that I was ready to move onto a new chapter in life.This left me asking the question: sales or law enforcement?A unique opportunity presented itself to pursue sales in Dallas, TX working as an Account Executive with Fisher Investments. Exploring this new chapter in life beyond college gave me the space to reflect on what I really wanted in life.Time with loved ones. Soccer. Adventures with my dog, Bruno. Photography/Videography. Running. Doing something I\'m truly passionate about.Before I knew it, I relocated to Austin, TX to play semi-professional soccer with Austin Rise FC.
