About Katelyn Sulett
USC Master\'s of Public Health candidate passionate about health equity, climate change, and disaster preparedness. My experience is in both \"hard\" and \"soft\" sciences: in my undergraduate education I learned about the processes and systems that drive the problems that my Master\'s education focuses on correcting and preventing via education and policy. Now, I have brought this knowledge to my internship at the Prostate Cancer Foundation, while also assisting with research and analysis under the guidance of Professor Rita Burke at USC.

Public Health and Research Intern

Created donor progress reports, consisting of updates on complex research progress and scientific findings, distilled to a more understandable level. Assisted with the creation of the organization\'s annual report, with specific tasks including copyediting, formatting, and the synthesis of image and narrative content. Attended the foundation\'s annual scientific meetings, where I also assisted with event photography and other miscellaneous tasks. Currently compiling a Community Needs Assessment for the foundation to better understand unmet constituent needs both internally and externally, with a specific emphasis on health education content. Assisted with video content creation based on webinars, identifying important and meaningful clips for patients and their families.
