I am passionate about empowered decision making and optimized strategies through Risk Quantification and Data Engineering & Analytics. I have worked as a Security Risk Engineer since 2023 at Netflix. I perform enterprise-level quantitative risk assessments across the company. My work unlocks visibility in Netflix\'s risk landscape as the business continues to move rapidly, and as the cyber risk world consistently evolves. These assessments enable security investment decisions and high-level risk prioritization for the greater organization. I also empower the Security Detections and Response team that our GRC function sits within with Data Engineering efforts I perform. I build data pipelines, centralize and clean datasets, and create metrics and visualizations that turn our work into valuable insights used by leadership. My Data Engineering efforts draw cross-functional connections and automate GRC initiatives. I am energized by working in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment in a role that goes deep in both Cyber Risk Quantification and Data Engineering.

   Risk & Data Engineer (Sitting within Risk within the GRC branch of Detections & Response)I quantify Security and Technology Risk across Netflix in financial terms, using the FAIR methodology to model cyber, operational, and technology risks across the CIA triad (Confidentiality, Integrity, Availability). My work directly supports strategic decision-making, prioritizes security investments, informs ROI, and produces clear, actionable risk documentation for stakeholders.In parallel, I act as a Data Engineer within the organization, designing and building workflows, pipelines, and data sources that power automated risk assessments, KRIs, and provide data to the larger security organization. I centralize and transform data to increase its usability across the company and unlock richer analytical and visualization capabilities. These solutions allow for GRC data to enrich and populate tools and visualizations that reach and support the entire organization. I play a key role in shaping our risk tooling architecture and strategy, primarily using Python and SQL. On the visualization side, I’ve led my team’s adoption of Tableau, creating highly interactive dashboards that surface our transformed data, provide deep insight into our risk landscape, and make it easily understandable at all levels of the organization.I intentionally embrace GenAI, integrating it into my workflows to streamline analysis, enhance productivity, increase my development capabilities and scale, and extend the impact of both our risk and data engineering functions.
