ABOUT KATELYN COUPE
I\'m currently an Editorial Assistant at Bloomsbury Digital Resources, where I support the development of academic digital products through a mix of editorial coordination and project management. My role involves working closely with both internal teams and external contributors to ensure projects progress smoothly, from manuscript preparation to publication. It has strengthened my attention to detail, cross-team communication, and understanding of academic publishing workflows. Alongside this, I serve as Deputy Editor at Scribbled, a digital platform focused on accessible, thought-provoking writing. In this role, I contribute to editorial strategy and take part in commissioning decisions by evaluating submissions for originality, clarity, and alignment with the platform’s vision. I also write original essays, particularly on historical topics, and enjoy exploring how storytelling can make complex ideas resonate with a wider audience. These experiences have sharpened my editorial judgment and strengthened my skills in content strategy, research, and collaborative publishing.
