ABOUT KATELYN B.
I am a healthcare and informatics leader with over 10 years of inpatient clinical experience at a level-1 trauma, 700 bed teaching hospital, specializing in nephrology, urology, and renal transplant care. While my career has spanned both bedside delivery as an RN and health technology, I have been focused on optimizing provider workflows, improving data-driven decision-making, and empowering providers through meaningful informatics solutions since 2012.Epic certified/credentialed in seven (7) applications (Procedural Orders, CPOE, Stork, ClinDoc, HOD, Ambulatory, ASAP), I’ve supported six hospital go-live implementations in roles spanning credentialed trainer, instructional designer, and senior training analyst. Currently the manager of Clinical Informatics under Medical Affairs, I’m passionate about connecting clinical practice and technology, helping services adopt systems that enhance safety, efficiency, and patient outcomes.I hold a BSN from the University of Southern Maine and an MS in Health Informatics from the University of New England. My goal is to continue leading at the intersection of healthcare, data, and innovation to improve how care is delivered and experienced.
