ABOUT KATHLEEN ELLIS

When I started my career I was all about becoming a manager and working with people. Over the years my experience has taught me that it is ALWAYS about people.I lend a calm presence wherever I go and it has been listed in almost every review written about me. I keep a level head and lean into areas of opportunity for me. I am an avid learner and drive myself to learn in areas that interest me as well as areas that are more of a challenge.I have had the opportunity to work on some really great teams over my work life, some within boards I have served on, with teams I had the privilege to help develop and the project teams that I now manage in my current capacity. I have a keen ability to read people and it has served me well over the years. It allows me to adapt in any given situation and to be a key contributor in the conversation. I love working with people and feel I have the capacity to build and work with dynamic teams in any work environment.My passion now is to continually learn, offer insights where and when they appear and to grow my own emotional intelligence. I recently completed UEQ, or Unlocking EQ. Six Seconds is a community of changemakers contributing to a world of insight, connection, and purpose. We think the world would be a better place if a billion people were practicing the skills of emotional intelligence (EQ). So, we research and share scientific, global, transformational tools & methods to support that goal.With offices and representatives in 25 countries and members in 167 countries, our community extends the globe.
