About Kate Linnemeyer

My friends would describe me as outgoing, hard working, and reliable. I have always been involved in countless activities throughout my high school and now college career. In high school, I was team captain of my basketball team, placed first in the district DECA competition, and I participated in National Honors Society, Tri Theta service club, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and was a student ambassador. So far in college, I am a part of Real Estate Club, Women’s Real Estate Club, and a member of Alpha Phi sorority. Over the 2022 summer, I got a commercial lending internship at Simmons Bank in Columbia, MO were I have gained real life experience using what I\'ve learned so far at IU. I believe these activities are a great representation of the words my friends would use to describe me, and I hope to continue adding to that list in the future. My career plans include becoming a real estate broker and developer. As I explored my college choices, I found that very few have programs in real estate in addition to finance, which is my interest and career goal. I was excited to find that Indiana University has a Bachelor of Science in Business-Real Estate and the Kelley School of Business is ranked #8 overall among national universities. This excellent reputation and remarkable real estate and finance programs are exactly what I was looking for.
