About Kate Lex
I am an aspiring orthodontist with a goal to bring joy to others with a perfect smile. I plan to continue my education and most likely major in biology or another science when I go to college. A smile is one of the things people will notice when meeting for the first time, and I think that first impressions are important. I would like to be the person that can assist others in having an impact on everyone they meet. I have always enjoyed volunteer work, and I feel as though an orthodontist is able to have that same satisfying feeling when helping others grow in their confidence because of their smile.My active membership in high school sports I played: soccer and tennis, and the clubs I have been involved in: Unified for Uganda, Key Club, and Spanish Club, proves that I am capable of being very dedicated to everything I do. This perseverance and dedication will pay off when I become an orthodontist.In my personal experience, getting the perfect smile brought me so much joy and increased my self-confidence. It is my dream to spread that positivity to as many people as I can. I can’t wait to make the world a happier place when everyone has a smile to share.
