ABOUT KATE HEBDON
My skills are based in the field of educational leadership primarily with administrators, teachers and students aged 10-18.I work to support a thriving school environment that is filled with positive learning that meets with academic rigour and social-emotional well-being. I have oversight of academics, co-curriculars, boarding, parent engagement, university counselling, student behaviour and operations. I also oversee our student leadership and work to ensure students are at the centre of their learning both in and out of class. I continue to support the post-secondary planning process for our graduates to find a best fit program and location to meet with their goals.I am also a teacher of geography, history and Theory of Knowledge, along with school counselling and I continue to use these skills in my role to enhance social-emotional practices throughout the school.I work with the International Baccalaureate Organization as a workshop content developer, writer, workshop leader, examiner and site consultant.
