My work continues to focus on apparel classification for a large fashion parent company and a home good retailer. I assist on other miscellaneous accounts as needed, including makeup and personal care, electrical equipment, electronics, and chemicals. Over time, I have worked a variety of accounts, including medical suppliers, chemical companies, major home retailers, and major makeup companies. I enjoy supporting our team and our clients and have assisted with entry audits, 301 drawbrack, post-summary corrections, and Free Trade Agreement eligibility assessments. I have submitted several rulings for clients and have had the honor of presenting on various topics for classification training, including co-presenting with my manager to the trade on the major changes to the 2022 HTSUS. My daily tasks see me primary working in proprietary software such as eFocus and TariffTel, generating data and reports using Excel, with the occasional PowerPoint presentation. I enjoy participating in the diversity and leadership opportunities available at Geodis in addition to continuing memberships in The United States Fashion Industry Association and The American Apparel and Footwear Association.
