The Motherload was founded in 2015 as a \'happy accident\'. It is now largest parenting community for women on social media in the UK, and has grown organically in five years from just eight \'mum-mates\' to over members - who call themselves \'MOLO\'s\'(MOtherLOaders) we support women to be great mothers every day through safe advice, responsible support and tried and tested recommendations. The Motherload is a fiercely loyal, highly engaged community with an inclusive demographic. Our community is primarily user generated but responsibly led by Kate. We work with brands to create campaigns focussed on marketing goals and engagement- Community creator, builder over 6 years, empowering women through our community share the load of motherhood through responsible advice and support- Nurturing and managing member experiences within the community, from an oversight and one to one perspective for optimal member experience and community growth- Managing expections and need on, and off the community timeline- Generating community content, shaping tone and encouraging adherence to The Motherload ethos and guidelines- Developing personal and brand relationships with users, advertisers, experts and resource managers for the benefit of the community- Understanding and curating themes, topics and UGC content for the betterment of the community and campaign insights with advertiser brands- recruitment and management of a highly skilled volunteer moderation team- developing and managing the brand and identity of The Motherload from a creative and strategic perspective- Understanding the need for responsive change to dynamics within the community and current events; strategising quickly and effectively for smooth transitions during times of change- Constantly reviewing best practice and making appropriate changes where identified- Using analytics for insight, development and growth.
