About Kate Dimpfl
I volunteer in many birth advocacy groups in the community- ICAN of Ithaca, BirthNet of the Finger Lakes, Free our Midwives and Perinatal Loss Support Group of Ithaca, NY. In my work capacity at Holistic Childbirth, I provide access to education and advocacy in order connect families into the knowledge and birth experience they are looking for. Classes and counseling are taught from evidence-based maternity care- supporting women in the choices that are best for them in their birth. I also support birth professionals through training and mentorship as they are providing the needed care to their communities.Specialties: program development, management, grant writing, counseling and training and education.

Holistic Childbirth provides workshops and counseling for families from prenatal to parenthood. Childbirth classes are evidence based and supportive of all birthing options available to women. Counseling is available for women who are looking to address more specific needs as they approach birth and parenthood. See for more details.
