About Kate Brown

Connecting people, purpose, and impact has shaped the choices I have made throughout my career. I’ve spent years in roles focused on expanding opportunity, strengthening communities, and helping people & organizations deliver on their responsibilities.My experiences span across early-stage tech startups, global nonprofits, higher education, and public sector initiatives. In these settings, I have often played a connective role, helping leaders align goals and advance initiatives, particularly during periods of growth or transition. The through-line of my work is a commitment to opportunity, strong public institutions, and systems that create shared value for individuals and communities. I have worked with institutions as they design, adopt, and govern technology-enabled programs that improve access, reinforce public trust, and deliver practical outcomes. Education has been a consistent focus, alongside efforts to strengthen civic infrastructure and support economic models that are more equitable and resilient. This work sits at the intersection of strategy, operations, and partnerships, where education, technology, and civic institutions meet.I work closely with founders, executives, and institutional leaders to turn intention into action. That has included building partnership ecosystems, supporting governance and advisory bodies, and aligning people, resources, and priorities so important work can move ahead and hold up over time.
