ABOUT KATE BAJIC
Kate Bajic creates handcrafted jewellery influenced by botanical forms. She handcrafts pieces mainly in sterling silver, with highlights of 18ct gold. Selected one-of-a-kind gemstones also form the focus in certain pieces, details of which are translated through into the finished jewellery, tying together the naturally occurring and the handmade. Brooches, cuff bracelets, earrings, necklaces and rings are available as one-offs, limited edition, made to order, or by commission. Kate has exhibited her jewellery both nationally and internationally, including at SIERAAD jewellery fair in Amsterdam in 2018/2019, at COLLECT Art Fair in 2021/2022/2024, at Goldsmiths’ Fair in 2022/2023 and at MAD about Jewelry at the Museum of Art & Design, New York, in April 2017 and May 2024.In addition to working as a studio jeweller Kate also teaches jewellery making skills to students, offering 121/221 private tuition from her Leicestershire studio.
