Food Rescue US is a national nonprofit committed to reducing food waste and food insecurity by engaging volunteer \"food rescuers\" who use their own vehicles to pick up healthy surplus food from donor businesses and deliver it to agencies that feed the food insecure. Food donors, partner agencies and volunteers register in our proprietary software that keeps track of where food is going and who is delivering it. Not only does our program feed hungry people and keep edible food out of landfill, it builds community by connecting these three pillars together for the greater good.
