As a strategic thinker, I focus on the ever-changing pension environment from regulatory, legislative and political perspectives. My role, based on my practical experience, is to influence government, regulators and other stakeholders for good outcomes for pension savers. I\'m media spokesperson for Aegon and often comment in the consumer and financial trade press, as well as broadcast about a range of pension related issues such as the pension freedoms, pensions tax, auto-enrolment, DC regulatory issues, the State pension, pension scams and most importantly trying to encourage a reliable and informed environment for people to have the confidence to save for their later life. A member of the Pensions Equity Group and co-chair of the policy sub-group. Until recently I was the \"Pensions Doctor\" for the Telegraph. I have working experience of both the pension contract-based and trust-based worlds, having in-depth knowledge of where they converge and diverge.I lead the authorisation submission for the Aegon Master TrustI was shortlisted for the Professional Pensions Women\'s Lifetime Achiever Recognition awards 2022.I was the winner of Women in Financial Advice Awards - Women of the Year (Retirement) 2018 and 2019.
