ABOUT KATERYNA S.
I\'m a filmmaker and video producer with a passion for public media and environmental storytelling. With an MFA in Film & TV Directing from Columbia College Chicago, I’ve worked across the U.S. and Europe on documentaries, narrative films, and branded content.I’ve produced and coordinated projects for PBS Chicago/WTTW, worked with creative agencies, and collaborated with public broadcasters and cultural organizations internationally. My experience spans independent film, commercial shoots, and festival programming.I’m especially drawn to stories that raise awareness about environmental and social issues. My short doc Plastic (2018) screened at global festivals and is now used in classrooms, and my upcoming short 2389: Coming Home continues that focus.I’m hands-on with all stages of production—from pre to post—and skilled in tools like Premiere Pro, AVID, DaVinci Resolve, and StudioBinder.
