About Kate Salamone

I am currently a sophomore at the University of Connecticut studying Marketing with a passion for communications and brand strategy. As a Campus Manager at Fresh Prints, I gain hands-on experience in customer service, sales, and student organization partnerships, helping brands grow their visibility and impact. On campus, I serve as Secretary and Outreach Director for Jewish on Campus UConn, where I coordinate events, manage communications, and build community among students. Since the chapter was established at UConn just last year, outreach initiatives are especially important for its growth. I am also a Dancer Representative for HuskyTHON, supporting Connecticut Children\'s Miracle Network. In this role, I act as the communication link between the management team and my organization, Pi Beta Phi, to maximize fundraising before the event. On the day of HuskyTHON, we host a child from Connecticut Children’s and their family, ensuring they have a night to remember during our 18-hour dance marathon.These experiences have helped me develop strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills, which I bring to every project and team I work with. I’m also skilled in Excel, Canva, social media analytics, and data visualization tools, which I use to turn insights into action. I’m eager to continue exploring opportunities in marketing, content strategy, and brand management, where I can combine creativity, analytical thinking, and collaboration to make a real impact.
