My research seeks to identify socio-structural and political factors that impact access to harm reduction and treatment resources for women, transgender, and queer persons who use drugs. I seek to understand how socio-political upheaval functions as a driver of high-risk drug use to inform gender responsive harm reduction practices and treatment interventions.
