Kate Reilly is currently a content producer at NBC10-WCAU in Philadelphia, PA.Kate has helped cover severe weather, breaking news, and major league sports.Starting her professional career in Fort Myers, Kate and the 11 p.m. team at WBBH earned a Regional Murrow Award for their breaking news coverage. She also had the opportunity to field produce during Southwest Florida\'s 2018 water crisis.She then went on to WBTV in Charlotte, NC. There she produced her first half-hour special on affordable housing in the city. The project landed the station a Regional Murrow Award.Kate graduated from Temple University in 2017.During her four years at Temple, she participated in numerous student-run media. Including The Temple News, Temple’s student newspaper and Temple Update, Temple’s citywide, cable newscast. With Temple Update, Kate had opportunities to cover the Pope Visit to Philadelphia and the 2016 Democratic National Convention. While studying abroad in London during the 2016 election year she reported on many political stories, including an interview with Sen. Bernie Sanders\' brother rallying for U.S. votes overseas.
