Contract and commercial manager and management accountant, that has worked in various non financial roles within various organisations in the public and private sector. • An effective team member, with excellent analytical, leadership, and organisational skills. Always willing to go beyond day-to-day responsibilities to achieve targets and objectives.• Wide knowledge of property and maintenance related issues with detailed technical knowledge of a wide range of equipment found in commercial and residential estates.• Driven to identify savings and minimise inefficiencies in areas of personal responsibility and across the business as a whole within a changing business environment.• Ability to work on own initiative and under pressure with consistent, accurate attention to detail.I started my career undertaking various accountancy jobs but have subsequently expanded into more operational roles using the skills developed whilst undertaking my MBA.My financial background has proven invaluable when undertaking tasks such as spend and profitability analysis; driving savings and efficiencies; and developing performance management tools and management reporting. For example, within Service Delivery, having identified the changes required, my MBA enabled me to develop models, tools and frameworks to manage change and effect improvements to systems and processes.With over 15 years experience I have gained a broad understanding of property management and maintenance, including rent, rates, service charges, project management through to full facilities management. I have detailed knowledge of legal compliance for planned and reactive maintenance, CDM requirements as well as technical and applied knowledge of a wide range of equipment and building fabric as utilised by the retail, hospitality, commercial and domestic/residential sectors.
