ABOUT KATE OKELL
A Chartered Surveyor with extensive experience in land assembly acquisitions, valuation, development consultancy and compulsory purchase. I currently undertake work for Local Authorities, public transport bodies, HS2 and several private-sector clients on a number of development, regeneration and infrastructure schemes throughout the country. I am experienced in undertaking and analysing complex development appraisals, valuing commercial and residential properties together with development land for both residential, commercial and mixed-use schemes. I have negotiated the acquisition of property/land, rights, easements and options for regeneration, infrastructure, crematoria and waste disposal projects. I have also appeared as an Expert Witness at the Upper Tribunal (Lands Chamber). I am a Chartered Member of RICS, serving on its Expert Working Group for Compulsory Purchase, a Registered Valuer, and a member of the Compulsory Purchase Association.
