ABOUT KATE MIKOLAJEWSKI

I am the Catastrophic and Large Loss injury team Manager at Clyde & Co LLP in Manchester and a practising solicitor. I manage, maintain and grow relationships, on behalf of the Catastrophic/Large Loss partners and the wider team, with key business services to provide a consistent and coherent Clyde & Co CAT/Large Loss claims package for the benefit of current and future clients and optimise efficiency across the team. I also specialises in the defence of large loss and catastrophic personal injury claims for leading insurance clients in England and Wales, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man, advising on the discrete issues of the discount rate and periodical payment orders. I am a member of the Clyde & Co Subject Matter Groups for Actuarial issues, Data and Innovations and oversees the various other groups. I am the outgoing Co-Chair of Pryde & Co, Clyde & Co’s LGBT+ and allies network. I am also a co-opted Governor at Tyntesfield Primary School, Sale, an Inspiring Learners school And, importantly, I am mum of two girls, a wife, and, in whatever time she has left, a (slow) runner who likes to bake and read.
