The loss of a soulmate, even a furry one, can make you feel like a stranger in your own life, forcing you to rebuild as you cope with a roller coaster of emotions. I started this community after the life-altering loss of my best friend, Murdock. It is a place to honor the life shared with our best furry friends and the difficult path we must now walk alone. The depth of grief is a lasting remembrance that we were blessed to share the beauty of profound love.

ABOUT KATE MCCARROLL
Immigration Attorney & Practice Co-Lead l Member at Kerr Russell. I practice in the area of immigration law and co-chair Kerr Russell\'s Immigration Practice Group. I have extensive experience in employment-related immigration law, including inbound and outbound immigration; I-9 and immigration-related compliance training; and, assisting corporations with Department of Labor/Department of Homeland Security audits. I have also handled immigration matters involving criminal and inadmissibility issues; family-based immigration; and asylum proceedings. In 2012, I was recognized by Thomson Reuters, publishers of “Michigan Super Lawyers,” as a “Michigan Rising Star” in immigration law. I am an Adjunct Professor at the University of Detroit Mercy. I was nominated as one of the \"10 Best\" Immigration Attorneys for Michigan by the American Institute of Legal Counsel, in 2016. I was selected as one of Crain\'s 2017 Notable Women Lawyers.
