ABOUT KATE MAURICI
A former practising barrister and senior government lawyer, I now lead the Queen\'s Club Foundation, the official charity of The Queen\'s Club, which seeks to improve lives through racket sports. I am an experienced community tennis coaching provider and formally lead an award winning community tennis company. I have significant Board experience in my current role. In my voluntary role as an LTA Independent Councillor I lead the Partnerships workstream on the Development Tennis Advisory Group and in my former Surrey Tennis Councillor role I chaired the venues & communications committee.I enjoy exploring governance issues as well as developing successful and creative strategies for improving social outcomes through sport. I am skilled in Governance, Management, Strategy, Social Inclusion, Sports Event Management, Mentoring, Refereeing, Competition Organising and Tennis Coaching. I have a passion for supporting and developing women in various sporting roles as well as supporting coaches at the outset of their careers.
