As Director of Strategic Growth at Summit, a data science advisory firm, Kate Lynch Machado develops and extends Summit’s service offerings in current and new markets. She identifies and pursues the opportunities that enable our statisticians, economists, and econometricians to solve real-world data-driven client problems.Ms. Machado has 30+ years of experience in corporate development and client engagement, particularly in the government contracting market. She most recently served as the Vice President of Corporate Development at Atlas Research, an advisory firm that provides consulting and research services to federal health and social service agencies. She directed Atlas Research’s corporate development strategy, where she built long-range sustainable client, partner, and colleague relationships. Machado also worked as a Business Development & Marketing Manager at Altarum Institute and as Director of Business Development at Health System Research, Inc.She holds a B.A. in psychology and economics from Randolph-Macon College.
