About Kate Gotta

I am currently a student at the amazing Auburn University studying Finance and am on track to receive my Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, but I am much more than that. I am also a travel enthusiast, activity driven, and friendship oriented person who seeks helping others whenever possible. As a college student who transitioned into this role during COVID I had to find familiarity in the unfamiliar and adapt to the massive environment and social change away from everyone I know. So, I believe a theme for myself that has shaped me as a person and will continue to do so is change. Through my time at Auburn I have extended myself to become active in an abundance of groups, clubs, and opportunities. One of which was my time at East Alabama Eye Associates where I worked as a technician alongside my boss who was allowed me to see all sides of the business from the patient side to the financial side. This continues my theme of change. I began my journey at Auburn University as a Microbiology Pre-Medicine major but after this exposure I found my true passion which is Finance. Now that I am passionate about my future career I am very driven to focus on developing connections with those who can mentor me in the field and setting myself up for a thriving future career.
