ABOUT KATE FREEMAN

Enabling systems improvement to support the most vulnerable people, I am a leader, motivator, behaviour and change manager. An experienced education, health and third sector consultant, my strengths include outstanding communication; making and seeing connections; responsibility and resilience. I work with local authorities, charities and organisations to make the changes needed to create fairness and equality for vulnerable children and young people. With leadership, strategic development, partnership, coaching and relationship building as core to my skills, My current focus is early years, family hubs and SEND strategic development. I am an LGA peer review challenger and challenge manager, a Registered Intermediary for the Ministry of Justice, and I provide consultancy support and training for Local Authorities and organisations such as the Early Intervention Foundation, Hempsall\'s, I CAN, nasen, Contact, Speech & Language Link and other educational bodies. In addition, I write funding bids, provide coaching, support change and manage outstanding outcomes. I am an ambassador, conducting live radio and television interviews, liaising with local authority leads, Charity Trustees and both seeking and delivering funded programmes. Achievements: Author of the Words Together series; Director of a national charity, Programme Director for TALK Derby; Programme Manager - Early Language Development Programme; directing provision of I CAN’s Place programme; Out of School Childcare management, charity founder and trustee, publishing articles, training courses and family resources; managing multi-faceted delivery systems.
