About Kate Draper
As a Disabled Veteran Outreach Program Specialist (DVOP) at Oklahoma Employment Security Commission, I assist veterans with significant barriers to employment through enhanced employment services. I have been working in this role for over a year, and I am also a Certified Federal Job Search Trainer (CFJST) and a Certified Federal Career Coach (CFCC).My mission is to provide veterans with the tools, resources, and guidance they need to achieve their career goals and overcome their challenges. I work with local communities, organizations, and workforce staff to build rapport and create opportunities for veterans. I am passionate about veteran advocacy and empowerment, and I am proud to have been awarded the DVOP of the Year (5th Place out of 5) for the Jobs for Veterans State Grant (JVSG) program in 2023.
