As the sole Accounting Intern on Flatiron Dragados’ corporate accounting team, I help support financial operations for the company as a whole, including U.S. and Canadian entities. Working in a hybrid environment, I\'ve gained hands-on experience with core accounting functions such as bank reconciliations, account reconciliations, intercompany and JV billings, and journal entries. I regularly interact with regional finance teams, project managers, and business leads to investigate variances and ensure financial accuracy. I also contribute to change entries, insurance allocations, file rollings, and running over/under analyses.Tools used: Excel, Oracle JDE1, DAS reporting, and Concur.
