Undertake ongoing design, development and effective implementation of the Group’s Enterprise Risk Framework and recommendations for its improvement and suitability for the business;• Provide adequate 2nd line oversight and independent challenge to the effectiveness and application of the Group’s Enterprise Risk Framework and control framework throughout the business areas;• Support the business with development of the firm’s risk assessments and RCSAs and development of KRIs;• Assist in the design of appropriate metrics and regularly review risk areas;• Support the business with Risk Event reporting, resolution and Root Cause Analysis;• Design and implement a risk control monitoring programme, and ensure the programme is completed to agreed standards;• Provide challenge and recommend improvements to processes and controls across the firm; identify weaknesses or areas for improvement in the Compliance & Risk department’s existing processes and procedures and propose and implement enhancements;• Assist the Board in establishing and quantifying the organisation\'s risk appetite;• Ensure timely, effective, and high-quality risk reporting is provided to the Board of Directors, Senior Managers and Committees.• Provide assurance to the Board and Committees on the adequacy of the Group’s Enterprise Risk Framework and on the quality of the operational controls across the firm, including but not limited to preparing Management information for the meetings;• External risk reporting to stakeholders;• Provide support, education and training to staff to build risk awareness within the organisation.• Ensure risk management policies and procedures remain accurate, up to date, and are in line with industry standards and best practices.• Contribute to the risk and control culture of the Group. Promote a strong and compliant culture within the business and help to ensure that Risk is recognised as adding value and assisting in delivering on business objectives.
