ABOUT KATTY BIDAD

I consider myself a 4L (I will describe it later). When I was a child, I was avid to discover the unknown, from magician tricks to nature’s secrets of the Bermuda triangle and I was always inspiring others and sharing my learnings with them; so this made me a Life-Long Learning Leader (4L). I have had diverse experiences and accomplishments in research, management, medical journalism, public health, and ethics. Accordingly, I am perfectly capable of managing multi-disciplinary projects with time- and budget limitations- Co-founded North Star Success Inc. which has helped more than immigrants through its seminars, webinars, coaching, training, and publishing- Co-founded the Professional Development Conference for Immigrants (PDCI) as an opportunity for being inspired, learn and network- Was part of planning and executive team of multiple national and international conferences - Published more than 30 papers and 20 books in peer-reviewed internationally renowned journals and websites- Cofounded, managed, and supervised an advanced diagnostic laboratory through capacity-building and networking leading to customer satisfaction and a significant revenue increase- Doubled the impact factor of the journal I was responsible for in 3 years- Worked as a volunteer for more than 10 years in the UNESCO Chair in Health Education in Iran to apply scientific knowledge to public health promotion and to promote ethics in The Iranian Association of Ethics in Science and Technology- Was chosen as a distinguished scientist and researcher on multiple occasions. I am particularly interested in training, non-for-profit activities, and empowering other people to their capabilities.
