A Transport Planner with over 15 years of extensive experience in the railway Public sector with technical and planning insights on consultancy projects of urban transportation with core focus in modeling, traffic management projects, financial and economic analysis and transit oriented development. I am a strong advocate for the movement of people rather than vehicles and the need for better integration between transport and land use. I have extensive experience in the development of transport Master Plans, multi-modal Transport networks, interchanges, working with architects, Engineers, developers and city agencies. I have helped develop a number of high profile projects in India, Mauritius and Bangladesh. Involved with a a lot of prestigious projects like Feasibility Study for LRT in Mauritius, Mass transit projects in Leh and Kargil, Mass transit projects in UP cities, Multi modal Integration Plan for Esplanade and Sealdah, Traffic Circulation and Transport Infrastructure Plan for Connaught Place in the context of the proposed redevelopment of New Delhi Railway Station as a World Class Station, DPR for 3 metro corridors in Kolkata, Mumbai Metro Station Planning for Mahim-BKC-Kanjur Marg, CMP for Indore Urban Area, Metro station planning for Technical Feasibility Study for Elevated Suburban Rail Corridor (Churchgate – Virar) in Mumbai, Traffic improvement plan of Outer Ring Road from IIT gate to NH-8 & its influence area, DPR for rail based mass transit system in Varanasi, Meerut, Guwahati and Chennai etc.Specialties: Area of expertise includes Transport Master plans, data processing and analysis, traffic forecasting, information and analysis for development of proposals, preparation of traffic circulation and management schemes, public transport planning, Comprehensive Mobility Plans, station planning and inter modal integration etcOne of the projects of Outer Ring Road has been taken up for implementation of two major proposals of a flyover on ORR and an underpass on BJM Marg.
